1. Who we are

Cloud Foundation Inc. (“we”, “us”) is a United States 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 88-2337360, and operates the website cloudfoundation.us (the “Site”). This policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site, give, or contact us, and how we use it.

2. Information we collect

• Contact and volunteer forms: your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message.
• Donations: gifts by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay are processed by Stripe on Stripe’s secure checkout. We receive your name, email, amount and billing country so we can send your tax receipt. We never see or store your full card number. Gifts by Zelle or cheque are handled by your bank.
• Technical information: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to keep the Site secure and running. We do not sell any information.
• Analytics and advertising: we use Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand which pages help people and whether our ads lead to gifts or messages. These services use cookies and similar technology to collect information such as pages visited, the ad you clicked and an approximate location. Google processes it under its own privacy policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or in your Google ad settings.

3. How we use it

• To answer your questions and volunteer offers.
• To process your gift and send your tax-deductible donation acknowledgement.
• To send occasional updates about our programmes, if you have given or asked to hear from us. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

4. Who we share it with

Only the service providers that help us run the Site and process gifts: Netlify (website hosting and forms), Stripe (card payments), Google Workspace (our email) and Google Analytics and Google Ads (measuring visits and our ads). We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.

5. Security

The whole Site is served over HTTPS, and payments are handled on Stripe’s PCI-compliant checkout. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we limit who can access your information.

6. Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop sending you updates. Write to director@cloudfoundation.us.

7. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. We do not publish photographs that identify children without written consent from a parent or guardian.

8. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
